Hello, I'm Julie Candler with the BBC news.
Relatives of the former Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir have told the BBC he's been moved to a jail in the capital Khartoum. They say he was taken to Kobar Prison where many of his political opponents were detained. Catherine Byaruhanga reports.
According to prison sources, he's being kept in solitary confinement. The country's military leaders said they had arrested Mr. Bashir and kept him in a secure place soon after removing him from power in a coup last week. Mr. Bashir's arrest will be welcomed by protesters who have been pushing for the country's former leaders to be held to account for alleged crimes committed whilst in power. The former president is wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes committed during the brutal war in the Darfur region. Sudan's transitional military council said it would rather try him at home.

In a newspaper article, Mark Carney and Francois Villeroy de Galhau say that unless companies adjust to the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, they will cease to exist. The target is a forty-five percent reduction over the next decade, which they say will require a massive reallocation of capital.
The Indonesian President Joko Widodo has welcomed unofficial 'quick count' results that put him significantly ahead of his rival Prabowo Subianto after Wednesday's election. But the preliminary results are being contested as Karishma Vaswani reports from Jakarta.
There are already challenges besetting President Joko Widodo. At the same time as these exit polls and quick counts show that he has won a decisive victory, his opposition party led by the Prabowo Subianto team has said that it, too, seize a victory from the quick count results that they have the data that they've collected. So in the days ahead, in the weeks to come, this clash between these two old familiar rivals, remember we were here back in 2014, remains to be seen over the next few days what Mr. Prabowo's next move will be.
