朝鲜发射火箭 韩美日齐声谴责

据报道，朝鲜不顾来自国际社会的压力于当地时间5日上午发射了一枚火箭。尽管朝鲜宣称当天发射的“银河2号”火箭，成功地将“光明星2号”试验通讯卫星送入预定轨道。但美、日等国却不约而同地表示，朝鲜发射的是一枚远距离导弹，这枚三级导弹在发射失败后已经坠入太平洋。美、日等国认为，朝鲜此举是对安理会有关决议的公然违反，并希望安理会就此对朝鲜采取进一步的行动。

3. Authorities near Tacoma are still trying to find a motive behind the murders of five children, apparently by their father. Authorities say the 34-year-old father later killed himself several miles away. The children ranged in age from 16 to seven years old.

4. And hundreds of pilgrims gathered to celebrate Palm Sunday in Jerusalem. The service marks the start of the Catholic Church's solemn Holy Week. Palm Sunday Mass was also held at a church in Gaza City.
