1. Officials say a second earthquake hit Indonesia early today. The one-two punch toppling buildings and trapping thousands of people. The death toll already tops 500 but is expected to go higher. Officials say at least 500 buildings collapsed or were badly damaged. The shakers also severed roads and cut off power.

2. Relief supplies are on the way to Samoa and American Samoa following the tsunami that crashed into the islands. Damage is widespread across the South Pacific islands. Entire villages are gone. President Barack Obama has declared American Samoa a major disaster area.

3. The United States and five other world powers are meeting with Iran in Geneva to talk about Tehran's nuclear program. The US and its allies are expected to demand a freeze of all Iranian nuclear activities. A US official also says Washington is open to a rare one-on-one session with Iranian diplomats. 

4. The pilots who successfully brought a US Airways jet down in the Hudson return to the skies today. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and First Officer Jeffrey Skiles make their first flight together since then on the same route they were flying in January, from New York LaGuardia to Charlotte. Everyone aboard last winter's flight survived.
