圣诞3D卡通:搞怪瑜伽熊再登荧屏
MELISSA BLOCK, host: From NPR News, this is ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. I'm Melissa Block.
ROBERT SIEGEL, host: And I'm Robert Siegel. Today, a new 3-D version of Yogi Bear hits theaters.
(Soundbite of film, "Yogi Bear")
Mr. DAN AYKROYD (Actor): (As Yogi Bear) I wonder if he noticed the pie.
(Soundbite of music)
Mr. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE (Actor): (As Boo Boo) You do come up with some good plans, Yogi.
SIEGEL: If you were looking online this week for the "Yogi Bear" trailer, you might have stumbled across a decoy. It's a brooding short film starring what looked like the very same animated bears from the new big-screen Yogi. We will spare you the plot details. All you need to know is in the short, Boo Boo shots Yogi intentionally.

BLOCK: The shot was inspired by the Brad Pitt Western "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," and needless to say, it was not authorized by Warner Brothers. Instead, it was created by one man, 25-year-old animator Edmund Earle.
Mr. EDMUND EARLE (Animator): Yogi Bear is the quintessential goofy, unserious kid-flick(儿童电影), and I love the marriage of goofiness with misery and darkness, not in a sick way but in an ironic way.
SIEGEL: Warner Brothers asked Earle to add a disclaimer, which he did. In return for their understanding, Earle says he'll spend the evening with the kinder, gentler Yogi and Boo Boo.
Mr. EARLE: Well, I plan to see it tonight when it premieres. I feel I owe them that much.
