世卫组织:无H7N9人际传播证据
Three elderly Chinese patients who contracted bird flu prepare to leave a Shanghai hospital. According to state media,the men have maDe a full recovery with this man seen on Sunday.He felt in fine spirits.
The news comes as the World Health Organization reported two more deaths from the H7N9 virus which brings the death toll to 20.There are at least 102 people infected with bird flu across China. According to researches Monday,half of cases were found in people over the age of 60.
And one thing which is very striking is the age distribution of confirmed cases.So many of the H7N9 cases have been in older people,around half of the confirmed H7N9 cases being in people above the age of 60. Experts also believe there could be as many as 120 unidentified mild H7N9 infections in the country's mainland.However,the WHO has not found any evidence the virus has spread human to human as of yet.
