A Chicago police officer has been arrested for allegedly beating a 15-year-old while off duty. Officer Robert Gallegos is a ten-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department. He's been charged with a felony charge of aggravated battery and has been relieved of his police duties. A judge set bond at 100,000 dollars toady. A police statement says that the high school student he allegedly attacked, suffered a broken jaw and other injures. Police say the officer's son was involved in an argument with the student earlier.
