Texas police say they found four children and their mother hanging inside a mobile home closet. It is being treated as a murder suicide with the mother believed to be the prime suspect. The suspected killer, the mom, and three of the children have died. The only survivor is an eight-month-old baby girl. Now she is in good condition at a Fort Worth hospital. Police say the children's aunt discovered the victims.

The Pentagon now says a total of ten American soldiers were killed in a helicopter crash and roadside bombings on Memorial Day. Yesterday's deaths made May the deadliest month of the year for troops in Iraq. 114 U.S. soldiers have been killed this month.

The British foreign office confirmed last hour that five people kidnapped from an Iraqi Ministry office in Baghdad are from the United Kingdom. A ministry spokesperson said at least 19 cars drove up to the office this morning, stormed the building, and abducted those five British citizens.

Antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan will no longer be a spokeswoman against the war in Iraq. In a letter to the liberal online community Daily Kos, Sheehan wrote that she is exhausted from her fight over the past two years and that her son died (quote)"for nothing". Sheehan first made headlines in 2005 when she camped outside of President Bush's Texas ranch demanding a second meeting with him.

In Mississippi jury's selection begins this week in the trial of a former reputed Klansman James Seale. He is accused of murdering two 19-year-old black men more than 40 years ago. Prosecutors say Seale picked up two black men who were hitchhiking back in May of 1964. The men were not seen again until their bodies were pulled from a river later that summer. Seale says he is innocent.

Beach goers on Florida's east coast are being urged to swim close to shore again today if they even go in the ocean at all. Over Memorial Day weekend, lifeguards rescued hundreds of people caught in rip currents. Part of Cocoa Beach was closed yesterday after lifeguards pulled two hundred people out of the water in just three hours.
