Good to have you with us, I’m Cory Kessler at the cnn center in Atlanta. Here is a look at what’s happening Now In The News.

Hezbollah is denying that it fired a pair of Katyusha rockets into the northern Israeli Town of Kiryat Shmona. There are no reports of injuries and police say the damage was minimal. Lebanese security sources say the two rockets came from southern Lebanon. Sources tell cnn a third Katyusha landed just inside Lebanon's border and that a fourth failed to fire and is being dismantled by the Lebanese army.

The militant group that says it is holding a British television reporter says there is no deal in the works to free him. The army at Islam says it will not release BBC journalist Alan Johnston unless its demands are met. The group wants Britain to release a Jordanian born cleric. He is holding for suspected links with terrorist organizations. Earlier Hamas said it was negotiating Johnston's release. One official said the reporter would be released Sunday.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy's UMP(Union for a Popular Movement) Party is leading in poll projections but by a smaller margin than expected. The Associated Press reports they have a 47% lead with the Socialist Party getting 41% of the votes.

Sudan and the United Nations' Security Council delegation confirmed that Khartoum would accept a beafed up U.N. and African Union Peacekeeping Force for Darfur. The 19,000 strong force could be in Darfur by October, depending on how quickly the U.N. and A.U. can get troops and funds. The troops will replace an overwhelmed 7000-member A.U. force that's working in Darfur now. Sudan was originally opposed to a U.N. Peacekeeping Force, but agreed last week to a joint African Union U.N. force.

Britain's Lewis Hamilton has won the U.S. Grand Prix for McLaren. This is his second straight Formula One victory. The 22-year-old rookie was followed across the finish line by a teammate and double world champion Fernando Alonso of Spain.

And there you have it. You are now up-to-date. Make cnn your source for the latest news. We're here for you on line, on TV or when you're on the go with your wireless gadget. I'm Cory Kessler. Thanks for watching.
