Hey there, I'm Josh Levs at the cnn center in Atlanta. Here's a look at what's happening NOW IN THE NEWS.

At least two Spanish members of a UN peacekeeping patrol were killed in southern Lebanon today. And several other peacekeepers were hurt. Their armored vehicle apparently hit a roadside bomb.

Meanwhile, in northern Lebanon, there were more clashes between the army and Islamic militants. But this time, the fighting has moved into the city of Tripoli, from the nearby Palestinian refugee camp that's been under sieged by the army for weeks. In the latest clashes, at least ten people have been killed, including six militants.

June is another deadly month for US forces in Iraq. After an especially violent weekend. The death toll has climbed to 80. Four multinational Division--Baghdad soldiers were killed in a roadside bomb explosion yesterday, northwest of the Iraqi capital. Three other soldiers with that same Division died in two separate insurgent attacks. A US airman died in a roadside explosion in Tikrit and the deaths of two troops in separate non-combat related incidents are under investigation.

A boy with a toy gun was shot and killed by police in west Memphos, Arksnsas last night. Police say officers were on surveillance at an apartment building when the boy appeared, carrying a toy pistol that looked like a real weapon. Police say an officer fired, killing the 12-year-old boy. The shooting is being investigated.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson was arrested in suburban Chicago. Jackson and other activists were demonstrating outside a gun shop yesterday. He was cuffed and charged with criminal trespass. Jackson and other activists have held several protests there in recent weeks, following the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old honor student on a bus. They say the shop's location gives gang members and other criminals easy access to firearms.

And finally now, tens of thousands of music lovers got little smooch in the rain. In the southern English town of Glastonbury, They braved a mud bath to hear from some legendary rock groups and go after a Guinness World Record for kissing. The band Madness directed some 30,000 fans to pucker up. Organizers say the biggest smooch will shadow the previous world record set by more than 6,000 couples in Hungry. Oh, a lot lover (are) going on.

Alright, those are the headlines at this hour. For more on those stories and of course all the news of the day, cnn is your source online, on TV or when you are on the go.
