Very good Saturday to you. I'm Veronica De La Cruz at the cnn Center in Atlanta. Let's take a look at what is happening right NOW IN THE NEWS.

A suicide truck bomber has killed at least 105 people in an attack on a crowded market in Northern Iraq. Another 250 people were wounded in that incident. That attack was just one in a series of deadly suicide blasts at markets, checkpoints and other places throughout Iraq this weekend.

The rain is finally tapering off in parts of Texas. Officials say while most of the floodwaters are beginning to recede, a few small rivers in parts of Southeast Texas are still on the way up. Authorities say so far 15 people have died as a result of this week's floods.

And the situation is different now west, for people are dealing with yet another day of triple-digit heat. The mercury reached 116 degrees in Las Vegas Friday. And while slightly cooler temperatures are expected today and tomorrow, firefighters are warning that the temperatures combined with thousands of acres of tinder-dry brush could make an already active wildfire season even more intense.

And a Norwegian computer hacker says that he has successfully found a way to access Apple's new iPhone without having to sign up for AT&T's 60-dollar-a-month service and he's posted the work around on his online blog. While that method only allows access to Wi-Fi features and music, several so-called reverse engineers have been working on a way to let users unlock the device and make calls with other carriers. Um, Apple is not commenting.
