Prosecutors are seeking a court order to shut down Congonhas Airport in Sao Paulo where the fiery plane crash Tuesday occurred, killing almost 200 people. Authorities want the facility closed until an investigation of the airport runway is completed. New video shows the flight's final moments. It shows the TAM jetliner landing at what appears to be a high speed, and then a ball of fire off to the left of the screen as it crashes.

And debris from Wednesday's steam pipe explosion in the heart of New York is contaminated with asbestos. But officials insist the toxic substance is not in the air. A section of Manhattan is shut down, designated a frozen zone. Emergency crews are cleaning up from the blast that ripped through an underground steam pipe. The cause of the explosion which left a crater 15 feet deep, 25 feet wide, is still under investigation.

Well, the fallout from NFL star, Michael Vick's indictment on dogfighting charges may not stop at the courthouse steps. Several sports marketers say the indictment could also cause Vick when it comes to some of his lucrative endorsement deals. His biggest client, Nike, released a terse statement, saying the company is aware of the indictment but has not said whether it will drop Vick as a corporate spokesman. Currently Vick makes an estimated 7,000,000 dollars a year from endorsement deals.

Dozens of wildfires burning in several western states right now are so bad. International firefighting crews may be called in to help stop them. Nearly 70 fires ranging in 12 states have raised the nation's wildfire alert to its highest level. More than 1,000 new fires have sparked just since Monday.

And Hollywood is buzzing about this year's Emmy Award Nominations. The TV movie “Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee” leads the list with 17 bids. Best Drama nominations went to “Boston Legal”, “Grey's Anatomy”, “Heroes”, “House” and “The Sopranos” and for Best Comedy series, “Entourage”,”The Office”, “30 Rock”, “ Two And A Half Men” and “Ugly Betty”. The winners will be announced September 16th.
