At least 10 people are dead, and 15 others wounded after a suicide bomber blew himself up in southwest Baghdad. It happened as Muslims were lining up for bread outside a bakery and getting ready to break their Ramadan fast.

At midnight, the British government will once again allow the movement of livestock to slaughter. The slaughter ban was imposed this week after a second outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease was found on a farm in England.

Las Vegas police are looking into whether O.J. Simpson was involved in an alleged armed robbery at a casino hotel. Two sports memorabilia dealers say Simpson and others came into a room and basically took several items worth thousands of dollars. In an interview with cnn, Simpson said, quote "I just wanted to get my stuff back." Simpson claims the items were personal items, some of which had been stolen from him.

It’s almost unbelievable. Three fatal crashes in four days at the same event. Well, the National Championship Air Races are set to resume in Reno, Nevada today. Two pilots were killed in accidents Tuesday and Thursday. Then two planes collided yesterday, killing one pilot and injuring another. Competition was suspended after yesterday's accident. During the races, the planes followed an oval path over the airport runway. Some described it as a car race in the sky.

Chrysler is recalling almost 300,000 sport-utility vehicles due to a potential braking problem while driving uphill. The recall includes thousands of Jeep Grand Cherokees and Commander SUVs from the 2006-2007 model years, and thousands more 2007 Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Nitros. Honda is recalling more than 180,000 Honda Civics from the 2006-2007 model year. The automaker says it needs to fix the wheel-bearing seal that could leak and lead to a wheel falling off.
