Authorities in Nevada say a young girl shown being sexually assaulted in a homemade videotape has been found safe. Authorities say the girl was 3 when the tape was made. She's now 7. They say her mother did not know about the assault. Investigators say a man initially wanted for questioning is now a suspect. The Nye County sheriff is calling on Chester Arthur Stiles to turn himself in. Stiles is not related to the girl but has some connection to the family.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will not run for the GOP's nomination for president. There has been much speculation over a possible Gingrich bid. He even hinted he might make a go of it just days ago. A spokesperson says Gingrich realized he couldn't run his political action committee and form an exploratory committee to run for president.

A UN envoy is in Myanmar, trying to end those deadly clashes between government forces and pro-democracy protesters. The streets are relatively quiet after a week of massive demonstrations. But the military junta has banned journalists and blocked Internet reports coming from that country.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is sending a high-level team to Iraq to review how private security contractors operate. The decision follows the September 16th shootings where Blackwater USA safeguards allegedly killed Iraqi civilians. Blackwater says it was responding to an attack on a US diplomatic convoy. Rice wants an interim report by Friday.

Budget troubles loom over Michigan this weekend. The state legislature will try to reach an agreement with the governor on how to deal with a 1.7-billion-dollar deficit. Two thirds of the state's more than 53, 000 employees have been told not to report to work on Monday if there is a budget impasse and a shutdown occurs.

Starting Monday, US airline passengers will once again need a passport to go to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda. The new passport requirements were temporarily waived because too many passport requests swamped the State Department. But the State Department says there is extra staff onboard now and the summer travel crunch is over, cutting passport processing time to 6 weeks for a routine application.
