娱乐英语新闻:Warrant issued for "Kill Bill" star Michael Madsen

BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhuanet) – An arrest warrant has been issued for American actor Michael Madsen, who was absent from a hearing in his child or spousal support case, according to foreign media report Sunday.

Madsen, 53, allegedly owed nearly 570,000 U.S. dollars in child and spousal support.

He failed to show up for a hearing in his ongoing child or spousal support case last week, which prompted the judge to issue the warrant.

The bail has reportedly already been set for 26,000 U.S. dollars.

Madsen married three times, to Georganne LaPiere, Jeannine Bisignano and current wife Deanna Morgan. He is responsible for the support of five children in total.

The 53-year-old star filed bankruptcy back in 2009, when he was unable to pay personal loans from Pierce Brosnan and Quentin Tarantino.

He appeared earlier this month in New York City for the screening of the "The Bleeding" to celebrate the DVD release.

Madsen, brother of Oscar nominee Virginia Madsen, is world-famous for his excellent performance in movie "Kill Bill" and vedio game "Reservior Dogs."
