娱乐英语新闻:"Twilight" Nikki Reed plans wedding

BEIJING, Oct. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed is busily planning her wedding to former American Idol contestant Paul McDonald.

Although she loved the beautiful nuptials in her new movie "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1", she prefers a more casual affair.

The "Breaking Dawn" star says they're planning a small affair, but won't reveal any wedding dress details because she says her fiance is "super traditional and he wants to be surprised."

Nikki has  previously revealed her fiance is "taking control" of their wedding plans since they announced their engagement in June after a whirlwind romance in March.

"I've never met anyone like him. I've never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. I've never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him."

McDonald says they've been doing "equal amounts" of wedding planning. "I think we're going to do a whole lot of beer, some keg beers," McDonald joked, adding, one thing guests can count on at the wedding: An open bar.
