体坛英语新闻:Bale injured, Djukic breathes again and Pedro scores hat-trick in Spain's matchday 5
MADRID, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid saw Gareth Bale suffer a hamstring injury in warm up before Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in a comfortable 4-1 home win against Getafe.
Bale had to leave the warm up before the game after feeling a problem in his leg and his place was taken by Isco.
That may have disappointed the fans, but turned out alright on the night as he scored Madrid's third goal of the night.
Getafe had taken the lead through a deflected Angel Lafita shot, but Pepe soon leveled from close range, before a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty put the home side ahead before the break.
Isco's goal just before the hour made it 3-1 and a cheeky backheel from Ronaldo added a fourth with the last kick of the game.
The day's drama was in Valencia where the home side took on Sevilla in a game between two sides tipped for big things, but struggling at the start of the season. Valencia coach Miroslav Djukic had been tipped for the sack had his sack lost, but at the end of 90 minutes Djukic was able to breathe more easily after two goals from Jonas Goncalves led Valencia to a 3-1 win, with Victor Ruiz scoring the final goal.
Sevilla meanwhile are bottom of the table with just two points and it is their coach, Unai Emery who is now under pressure.
The day had begun with two 0-0 draws, but although the game between Betis and Granada was scant reward for the fans who made the mid-day kick-off, the game between Celta and Villarreal saw end to end attacking football in which both sides could have easily scored at least two goals each.
As it is, Villarreal remain unbeaten, while Celta have confirmed the positive sensations Luis Enrique's side has given in the start to the season.
Saturday saw FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid continue their 100 percent starts to the season.
Barca enjoyed a 4-0 win away to Rayo Vallecano, thanks partly to a hat-trick scored by winger Pedro Rodriguez in a game where the result was slightly flattering for the Champions, who had to work hard on a dry and bumpy pitch.
Cesc Fabrigas added a fourth in a game in which Leo Messi and Neymar both shone without scoring a goal.
Meanwhile Victor Valdes' form in goal continued as he saved a penalty in the first half, which would have made the score 1-1.
Atletico Madrid kept hot on Barca's trail as they also claimed their fifth successive win of the campaign thanks to second half goals from Raul Garcia and Diego Costa, who netted his fifth goal of the season to haunt his former club.
Saturday kicked off with a 0-0 draw between Real Sociedad and Malaga in the Anoeta Stadium, while Almeria are still looking for their first win of the season after seeing a 2-goal lead escape them at home to Levante. A Verza penalty on the stroke of halftime and a fine strike from loanee Suso put Almeria in front after 53 minutes.
Things began to turn sour shortly afterwards after Cristian was harshly shown two yellow cards in a matter of seconds and Almeria given a penalty which was scored by El Zhar and Pape Diop leveled with a fine volley fom outside of the penalty area with 31 minutes left to play.
The round of matches kicked off on Friday 0 night as Osasuna won their first game and first points of the season with a 2-1 home victory over recently promoted Elche.
Monday sees Espanyol entertain Athletic Club Bilbao before the sixth round of games kicks off on Tuesday.
