BERLIN, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Bayern Munich crushed Hannover 4-0 in a one-sided affair meanwhile bottom team Hamburg secured their first win at struggling Dortmund, at the seventh round of Bundesliga on Saturday.

Front-runners Bayern Munich reaped their fifth win of the season as hapless Hannover swallowed four goals at outsold Allianz Arena. Robert Lewandowski and Arjen Robben had large shares on Bayern's dominant win as both players donated a brace.

The Bavarians caught a perfect start on home soil as Robert Lewandowski broke the deadlock with just six minutes into the encounter. The Polish international made use of Rafinha's through ball to slot home from 14 meters with only Hannover goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler to beat.

Hannover were unable to keep Bayern's go-to players on the distance as Arjen Robben doubled the lead at the 13th minute. The Dutchman had all time and space to net the ball with a low shot into the bottom right.

Bayern kept it bowling meanwhile Hannover lacked to put up some resistance. As a result, Bayern killed the game with the third first-half-goal. It was Lewandowski, who wrapped up his brace with seven minutes remaining at the first half.

However, Bayern wasn't done with the scoring at the second half as Robben marked his second goal of the day in the 79th minute.

With the result Bayern establish a four point gap on top of the tabel while Hannover suffer their third loss to stay on the sixth position.

Hamburg earned their first win of the season and increased the worries at Dortmund as Juergen Klopp men suffered their fourth loss of the season to slump on the 13th place.

Both sides staged an evenly balanced first half although Hamburg created more chances than the hosts. However, the "HSV" capitalized on a moment of madness of Adrian Ramos who produced a turnover allowing Nicolai Mueller to tee up for Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who poked home into the open goal in the 35th minute.

Hamburg's opener was a wakening call for the hosts but they never found a gap to overcome the visitor's bulwark. Dortmund pressed frenetically for the equalizer but all their efforts remained fruitless.

With the surprising win Hamburg climb from the last to the second last position whereas Dortmund slip into a crisis after their fourth loss.

Ten-men Paderborn crave out a two all draw against wasteful Leverkusen in an exciting encounter.

The newly promoted underdog from Paderborn flabbergasted Leverkusen with twenty minutes into the clash as Sueleyman Koc capitalized on a blackout by Leverkusen's goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Leno missed a clearance outside the box allowing Koc to slot home into the open goal.

Leverkusen remained unimpressed and responded three minutes before the break through Lars Bender. Paderborn's goalkeeper Lukas Kruse fumbled a long range shot by Karim Bellarabi giving Bender the opportunity to restore parity from very close range.

Leverkusen dictated the pace after the interval but Paderborn ensured the first negative highlight of the second half as Marvin Bakalorz saw a straight red card for a rude foul play to Wendell.

Despite being 10-men, Paderborn shocked the hosts with three minutes remaining as Moritz Stoppelkamp gave his side the 2-1 lead. However, Leverkusen avoided a disgrace thanks to Karim Bellarabi who scored the equalizer in the dying minutes of the game.

With the draw Leverkusen slip to fourth place whilst Paderborn climb on the eight position.

Elsewhere, Hoffenheim are on the Bayern hunt as the "TSG" defeated Schalke 2-1 to move on second place of the Bundesliga standings. Undefeated Hoffenheim sealed the deal with two first-half goals thanks to Tarik Elyounoussi and Adam Szalai.

Joel Matip weakened his side in the 75th minute when he was sent off for his second bookable offence. Nevertheless, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar was able to reduce the arrears in the 83rd minute.

Freiburg and Bremen are the only teams who still wait for the first win of the season. Both sides share the spoils as Freiburg's Vladimir Darida saw his converted penalty cancelled out by Franco di Santo. Consequently, Bremen slump on last position while Freiburg remain on the 15th place.

Frankfurt came from behind against Cologne to secure a 3-2 victory by courtesy of Alexander Meier's brace. The "Eagles" jump onto the 5th place while Cologne slip to the 14th place.

The following fixtures will close the seventh round on Sunday: Wolfsburg host Augsburg and Monchengladbach face Mainz.
