体坛英语新闻：Barca on fire with 6-0 win over Getafe

MADRID, April 28 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona's attacking trio of Leo Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez were on blistering form as the Catalan side took the fast track to a brilliant 6-0 win at home to Getafe in the BBVA Primera Liga.

Barca have reached the run in to the end of the season in their best form of the campaign and they demonstrated in the first 45 minutes against Getafe that when they are at their best that no side can live with them.

The win leaves Barca five points clear of Real Madrid, who have to play Almeria on Wednesday, but if Barca continue in this vein there will be nothing any side can do to beat them this season and the league title will be theirs.

It's hard to pick out one architect for the win, but Messi was once again brilliant and generous in his efforts. It was his pass which set up Suarez after 8 minutes only for the Uruguayan to be brought crashing down in the Getafe penalty area by Alvaro.

Messi took the penalty and scored with a 'Panenka'- a cool chip in the middle of the goal as Vicente Guaita dived to one side.

Getafe threatened briefly but it was a chimera, Suarez made it 2-0 with a volley from a Messi cross after 25 minutes.

Neymar's dribble and low finish three minutes later meant the trio had all got their names on the scoreboard with 62 minutes remaining, but there was more as Xavi Hernandez scored a curling from the edge of the area a minute later.

There was still time for Messi, Neymar, Xavi and Suarez to combine for Suarez to score his second of the night with a flying volley five minutes from halftime.

The three points were assured and Luis Enrique decided to rest Sergio Busquets, although Messi needed just a minute after halftime to score his second and Barca's sixth of the night.

The pace of the game slowed down, but Barca continued to create chances with Guaita, who had been helpless in the goals, producing several fine saves to stop it turning into a rugby score. With Barca in this form he won't be the only goalkeeper to be busy between now and the end of May.
