BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Former Brazil coach Mano Menezes said that Shandong Luneng has made him an offer that is too good to refuse as he all but confirmed his move to the Chinese Super League club on Wednesday.

Menezes, who is currently coach of Brazilian Serie A club Cruzeiro, is expected to officially accept the position within days.

"There are still some important details to finalize," Menezes told a press conference in Belo Horizonte.

"[Talks] are going well and I don't want to lie, but there is no deal yet. When that happens the club will confirm it. It's not a done deal but it's well on the way. It's an offer that is out of this world. From a financial point of view there is no way to turn it down."

Menezes will replace his countryman Cuca, who has coached Shandong Luneng since 2014.?
