国际英语新闻:Brazil, Portugal sign deal to cut restrictions on air transport
RIO DE JANEIRO, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Brazil and Portugal on Friday closed a deal to eliminate restrictions for passenger and cargo transport between the two countries, the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) said.
According to ANAC, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Brazilian and Portuguese civil aviation authorities will "allow the expansion in the offer of international flights to any destination in both countries, with the possibility of connecting with third countries."
The MoU with Portugal is similar to those recently negotiated by Brazil with other European countries such as Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Greece, Sweden, Luxembourg and Finland.
It foresees no limitation in the offer of flights, routes, locations and code sharing among airlines.
