国际英语新闻:Oman, Switzerland discuss bilateral cooperation
MUSCAT, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Oman and Switzerland have discussed bilateral cooperation and means of enhancing and developing them in various political and economic fields, said the Omani Foreign Ministry on Monday.
"The Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Yousuf bin Alawi received the Swiss State Secretary of Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Pascale Baeriswyl, who is currently visiting Oman," said a statement by the Omani Foreign Ministry.
The statement added that the meeting also discussed regional development and efforts to enhance political dialogue to achieve security and stability, as well as regional and international peace.
The Swiss minister arrived in Oman on Sunday for a three-day official visit.
