桂林阳朔一热气球爆炸 4名外国游客罹难

Investigators have held a hot-air balloon company responsible for a crash that killed four Dutch tourists in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Wednesday.

The hot-air balloon caught fire and crashed in Guilin, a popular tourist destination in China's south. Two Dutch couples on board were killed. Police said another Dutch tourist and two Chinese pilots survived the crash with slight injuries.

An early probe into the accident showed the balloon flew beyond its permitted 200-meter height and 12-kilometer distance. The victims' bodies were taken to Guilin, where the Dutch consulate will organize repatriation.
