利比亚发生自杀式爆炸袭击
At least 56 people have been killed and about 100 others wounded in two suicide bombings in West Libya.
Thursday's first and deadliest attack happened when a truck bomb exploded at a police training school in Zliten, about 170 kilometers east of the capital, Tripoli. According to a spokesperson for the health ministry of the self-proclaimed government in Tripoli, at least 50 were killed on site.
The attack was the worst in the country since former leader Muammar Gaddafi was toppled in 2011. Hours later, a car bomb exploded in a checkpoint in an oil port of Ras Lanuf, killing six, including a baby.
There has been no claim of responsibility yet. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon has condemned the attacks.
