And at the Antonio Marras collection on Friday at Milan Fashion Week, raw femininity was no doubt the designer's favorite.

The designer was inspired by Paska Devaddis, a legendary female bandit who fled her village in 1905 because she was in love with the wrong man and became an outlaw.

This gave Sardinian born designer Antonio Marras a chance to evolve his boy-meets-girl androgynous style.

Marras' women wore men's coats patched with fur inserts, needed to face the cold nights sleeping in the rough.

Her cast-off coats have been disassembled and sewn back together to fit a slim, petite woman.
