Master Kong cooperation, famous in China for its instant noodles, has decided to postpone its price hike plan after talks with the NDRC in late March.

According to the survey released recently, Master Kong holds a dominant position in China's instant noodle market, with nearly 70 percent of pot noodles sold in the country by this brand. Though raw material prices have gone up this year, the company still holds a high net income.

In April, Master Kong announced a 14 per cent increase of its instant noodle cost - that was their third price hike since last November.
