中国从7月1日起降低汽油关税

The Ministry of Finance has announced it will reduce tariffs on fuel, starting from the 1st of July. There are a total of 33 commodities involved in this tariff cut, mainly energies and raw materials. And tariffs for diesel and aircraft fuel will be reduced to nil.
财政部公布，从7月1日起将降低汽油关税。削减关税的商品总共有33种，主要是能源和原材料。而且柴油和飞机燃料的关税将减少为零。

The July tariff cut represents yet another severe reduction following the tariff slash of 600 commodities earlier this year. This time, tariffs of 33 items will be cut or eliminated, ranging from fuel to textiles. Gasoline and oil will be reduced to 1 percent. Tariffs for diesel and aircraft fuel will be reduced to zero from 6 percent and 9 percent respectively.
7月份关税削减反映了今年早些时候600种商品削减关税后另一个重大的削减。这一次，从燃油到纺织品这33个项目的关税将减少或取消。汽油和石油将减少到1%。柴油和飞机燃油将分别从6%和9%减少为零。

International Energy Agency announced on Thursday it will release 60 million barrels of oil next month, in response to the ongoing disruption of oil supplies from Libya.

Experts say the tariff cut and the oil release will help reduce energy costs for the economy and help control inflation.

Zhang Bin, director of tax studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said, "After the tariff reduction, the supply cost will decrease respectively. I think this creates some opportunities for the government to control energy prices. From this perspective, people will benefit from smaller price volatilities. Whether this will be reflected in daily petrol prices, still depends on policy adjustments.
中国社会科学院税务研究主任张斌说：“关税削减后，供应成本也会分别降低。我觉得这样为政府控制能源价格提供了机会。从这一点上，人们将从价格的较小波动中受益。无论这是否反映在日常的汽油价格中，它依然依靠政策进行调整。”

At the moment, petrol stations on the Chinese mainland are increasing their sales promotions. Average petrol prices ranges from 7.55 to 7.65 yuan per liter in Beijing.
