为泰党执政将缓解与柬埔寨的关系

Thailand's former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra is known to have a close relationship with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. With his enormous influence over the Puea Thai Party that has just won a landslide election, many believe an opportunity has arisen to help ease tensions between the two countries.
众所周知，泰国前总理他信．西那瓦与柬埔寨首相洪森关系密切。由于他对在选举中大获全胜的为泰党有着巨大影响，因此许多人就认为，缓解两国紧张局势的时机已经来临。

After the Puea Thai Party's landslide election victory, the Cambodian Prime Minister issued a letter of congratulations. Thaksin Shinawatra's sister, Yingluck Shinawatra, has also stressed that she plans to strengthen ties with neighboring countries.
为泰党在选举中获得压倒性胜利之后，柬埔寨首相发表了一份祝贺信。他信．西那瓦的妹妹，英禄．西那瓦也强调，她计划加强与邻国的联系。

Yingluck Shinawatra, Thailand's Prime Minister, said, "After the election, I am going to have serious talks with the Cambodia government. The two countries will make their positions on the boundary issue clear, and hold negotiations"

Apart from the Cambodian Prime Minister, the Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs has also welcomed Puea Thai's victory. He believes they will be more willing to come to a settlement on the boundary issue than the rival Democratic Party government. Thailand's former chief of staff of the armed forces also shown confidence that the tension between the two countries can be alleviated.
除了柬埔寨首相，柬埔寨外事大臣也对为泰党的胜利表示欢迎。他相信为泰党会比其竞争对手民主党政府更愿意解决边界问题。泰国前武装部队总参谋长也对两国的紧张局势能得到缓解表现出信心。

Ratanavanice, former Chief of Staff of Armed Forces in THAILAND, said, "The relation between Thailand and Cambodia will improved after the Puea Thai Party come into power. Boundary talks will be held in the future. I believe after the change in the Thai government, the Cambodian government will take consideration on how to defend Cambodia's interests, and so will Thailand. However, the key point is how to find the common ground for both two sides."
泰国前武装部队总参谋长Ratanavanice表示：“在为泰党执政之后，泰国和柬埔寨之间的关系将得到改善。今后将举行边界谈判。我相信在泰国政府更迭之后，柬埔寨政府会考虑如何维护柬埔寨的利益，泰国也将如此。然而，关键是如何找到双方共同的利益。”

Meanwhile, business on the Thailand-Cambodia frontier is booming. Many locals believe that the vibrant commercial atmosphere and the change in government will both help to ease the current tensions between two countries.
