广州恒大第一外援孔卡亮相

The Chinese Super League has just unveiled its most expensive player ever. Argentine midfielder Dario Conca has been unveiled as Guangzhou Evergrande's star recruit of the season.

More than a hundred journalists and hundreds of fans witnessed the arrival of the most expensive player in the history of the Chinese Super League. Conca was given a thunderous welcome. The 28-year-old joined the CSL giants on a 10 million dollar contract and he's signed for the next three and a half years. Conca's annaul salary will amount to some 7 million US dollars, making him the highest paid player in the league. Conca, who made his debut for Argentina's River Plate in 2003, joined the Chinese club from Brazilian side Fluminense where he was named as the Brazilian Leagues most valuable player for two consecutive seasons.

Dario Conca of Guangzhou Evergrande Midfielder, said, "My contract with Fluminense expired when Guangzhou's general manager invited me. After listening to the manager's description of the team's targets and future plans, I felt determined to join the club. This is the most important reason for my decision."
