动画影片需要讲好故事

There were quite a lot of Chinese original animation works that took part in this year's Asian Youth Animation & Comics Contest. But except for the few winning works, most were not recommended by experts or the jury. They say it all comes down to story telling skills.
中国有很多原创的动画作品参加今年的亚洲青年动漫大赛。但是除了少数获奖作品之外，很多都没有被专家和评委会推荐。他们称，所有这些归结起来就是讲故事技巧的问题。

Compared with animation works from other countries, the Chinese ones focus more on technology aspects such as color, special effects and sound effects. The jury said that the most important thing in telling a great story is to help the audience understand a simple truth.
和其它国家的动画作品相比，中国的作品更多地是专注于技术方面，例如颜色、特技和音响效果。评委会称，讲述一个精彩的故事最重要的是帮助观众理解一个简单的事实。

World famous animated films like "Mulan" and "KungFu Panda" popularized some quintessential elements of Chinese culture, but they were produced outside of China.
像《花木兰》和《功夫熊猫》这样的闻名世界的动画片推广了中国文化中一些精髓元素，但是它们都不是中国制作的。

If the up-and-coming generation of animation artists can focus more on cultural content and good story telling, perhaps Chinese audiences can enjoy some world-class domestic productions in the future.
如果动画艺术家中的后起之秀能更多地关注文化内涵和精彩的故事讲述，或许在未来，中国观众可以欣赏到一些世界级的国产作品。
