孩子上大学 父母高兴同往

Students aren't the only ones excited about starting at university. For parents, their children's enrollment is a source of joy and pride. Some parents travel with their children and spend the first week or two of orientation with them at university to help them ease into college life.
学生不是唯一对踏入大学校门感到高兴的人。对父母来说，他们的孩子去上大学也是他们快乐和自豪的源泉。一些父母和孩子一起去学校，和他们在大学里度过一两周的适应期，帮助他们适应大学的生活。

The Central China Normal University in Wuhan, Hubei province is offering students and their parents a temporary home away from home. In an air-conditioned indoor stadium, men and women are separated into two areas with enough sheets for over 300 people. Blankets are also offered to parents whose children are enrolled.
湖北省武汉市的华中师范大学为学生和他们的父母提供了离开家之后的临时之家。在一个装有空调的室内体育馆里，男人和女分开在两个区域，有够300多人用的床单。还有毛毯提供给入学学生的家长。

Wang Xiaoyan, a student’s parent, said, "I'm satisfied staying here. I don't think we need to find a hotel, as we can bathe here and it's clean." Liu Fengyan is from Henan province. His daughter passed the university entrance exams with flying colors and has received a full scholarship. Though tired after some 10 hours of traveling by train, he cannot hide his happiness.
学生家长Wang Xiaoyan表示：“我对住在这里感到很满意。我认为我们无需找一家酒店，因为我们可以在这里洗澡，这里很干净。”Liu Fengyan来自河南省。他的女儿顺利通过高考，获得全额奖学金。尽管经过10个小时的火车车程有点累了，但是他还是难掩喜悦之情。

Liu Yanfeng, a student’s parent, said, "By staying here I can save over 100 yuan every night. In total I'll have saved enough for my daughter and I to dine for nearly 10 days."
学生家长Liu Yanfeng称：“住在这里，我每晚可以省100多元。我总共可以省下我和我女儿近10天的饭钱。”

Liu Qianqian, a student, said, "I'm very grateful for my father. I'll study diligently and repay him by securing a bright future for myself."
学生Liu Qianqian表示：“我很感谢我的父亲。我会努力学习，用自己的美好未来来回报他。”

By 8pm, a movie starts screening in the stadium. Most parents soon fall asleep, still weary from their journey from home. The Central China Normal University began using its stadium to house students' parents in 2005, due to a lack of suitable and affordable accommodation.
晚上8点钟的时候，体育馆里一场电影上映了。很多父母很快入睡，从家里来到学校的旅程仍然使他们疲倦。因为缺乏合适和经济的住处，华中师范大学从2005年开始用其体育馆来给学生的家长提供住宿。
