中秋佳节:家人团聚的日子

It is an occasion that rounds up sons and daughters at home to enjoy the moment of family reunion. The Mid-autumn Festival, one of the reunion holidays for Chinese families, fell on September 12th. Also known as the "Moon Festival", the occasion always dwells on the day when the moon is full. With the full moon symbolizing family reunion in Chinese tradition, moon worship has been one of the must do's during the festival.
这个节又被称为“月亮节”，它总是在月亮圆的那一天。由于圆月在中国人的传统中象征着合家团圆，拜月成为这个节日里必做的一件事之一。

In Hangzhou city in east China's Zhejiang Province, people there enjoy one of the most famous sites on West Lake to enjoy the scene. As in previous years, thousands of tourists and local residents flocked to the site.
在中国东部的浙江省杭州市，那里的人们欣赏着最有名的景点之一的西湖的景色。和前几年一样，数千名游客和当地居民涌入这个地方。

Locals also lit Kongming lanterns, and sent them into the sky. "You can see the lantern lights the sky and down on the ground, there're also lots of lights. It's beautiful."

Some choose to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and move to high mountains, where it seems much closer to the moon. Up in Yellow Mountain in Anhui province, a tourist attraction renowned for its beautiful scenery and steepness, the low temperature hasn't dampened people's enthusiasm. Couples have also been there to spend the special night.
