金价下跌 人们疯狂抢购

Well, gold has certainly seen a big boost in price versus the same time last year. Prices hit a record high in September of this year following inflationary fears stemming from very accommodative policies across the world. But prices for the precious metal have since retreated for the last quarter of the year. Following the drop in price, many Chinese have rushed to buy gold, especially bullions with a dragon pattern, wishing for a prosperous up-coming Year of the Dragon.

Prices for pure gold in Shanghai has dropped to 420 yuan per gram, a decline of 22 yuan from a week ago, and 52 yuan less from its highest point. Many investors began buying gold bullion for long term investment. However, what’s different this time around, is that dragon patterned gold jewellery and bullions are in special favour, as the year of dragon is coming soon, in less than a month.
上海纯金的价格跌至每克420元，比前一周下跌了22元，比最高点低了52元。许多投资者购买金条是为了长远投资。然而，这次不同的是有龙的图案的金首饰和金条尤其受到欢迎，因为龙年还有不到一个月就要到来了。

One investor said: "I think prices are at a point where it makes sense to invest in gold. In the long term I believe gold price will rise."
一位投资者表示：“我觉得价格处于一个黄金投资很明智的点。从长远来看，我相信黄金的价格会上涨的。”

Mao Wen, project director of World Gold Council said: "Products released especially for the year of the dragon is getting really popular, even before the Chinese New Year. Many shops are introducing more products with the dragon zodiac pattern."
世界黄金协会的项目负责人毛文表示：“在春节之前，专为龙年发行的产品非常受欢迎。许多商店都引入有更多龙生肖图案的产品。”

Accounts opened for T&D (trade & delay) for gold have surged up, representing an increase in non-material gold trading. However, experts warn over trading gold on leverage is risky, and recommended holding real gold in portfolios.
为黄金交易与延迟（T&D）开通的账户激增，这代表了非实物黄金交易的增长。然而，专家提醒，超过黄金交易杠杆是很危险的，建议在投资中要持有实物黄金。
