One Estonian group has swapped their guitars and drum kits for iPads, vowing to put on a touch screen show to rival any rock group.

The four musicians, known as "Padman" use five iPads and occasionally throw in an iPhone too. Using their iPad apps, they can choose which instruments they want: drums, guitars, piano and so on. The band members themselves say there are plenty of advantages, the first being ease of transport.

Their gadgets also save hours in stage set-up and sound checking time. But these young musicians all agree that "Padman" can't compete with real instruments, due to the limitations of the iPad's size and capacities.

The boys says they're determined to carry on with their rehearsals and improve their act, hoping to wow audiences with even stronger i-performances.
