台风苏力减弱 暴雨警告依旧

Typhoon Soulik is gradually weakening on its course inland, but heavy rain and strong winds will continue to pummel parts of China.

Typhoon Soulik moved to Jiangxi Province Sunday morning after landing in Fujian Province on Saturday. Downpours in Fujian and neighbouring Zhejiang are easing, and the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center has downgraded its warning for sea waves from top-level to yellow. But in Jiangxi Province, where the typhoon is currently at, most parts will be hit by rainstorms.

Some regions in Anhui and Hubei will also be affected. Some 400,000 people in Fujian, and 410,000 people in Zhejiang have been affected.
