苏力过后仍有狂风暴雨

Typhoon Soulik has gradually weakened after moving inland, but heavy rain and strong winds continue in East and South China.

In South China’s Guangdong Province, where Soulik has killed 3 people and forced another 20-thousand to relocate, a new round of rainstorms have delayed around 20 flights in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

And in neighbouring Jiangxi Province, a rainstorm has caused flooding in villages in the central city of Ji’an. The water level reached 1.5 meters in some areas. Hundreds of residents were trapped by the flooding and had to be evacuated.

China’s National Meteorological Center says water levels in typhoon-affected regions have dropped below the warning line and the impact of Soulik will end soon.
