巴西世界杯2014年6月12日揭幕
FIFA has announced the kick-off times for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. And as expected, the news is not good for fans here in China as the time difference will make for some very late nights and very early mornings.
You can definitely expect a month or so of increased coffee sales around the country, as football mad Chinese fans and those expats living here who won’t be missing their nation in action balance life and football.
Group-stage and knockout stages will kick-off between 1 pm and 9 pm local time in Brazi which means it will be between midnight and 9 am in Beijing with the time change.
The opening match of the World Cup is scheduled to take place in Sao Paulo on June 12 at 5pm local tme in the Brazilian city which will be 5 am here in Beijing on the 13th.
