国际货币基金组织提升对中国2014经济前景的看法

The International Monetary Fund has released its Regional Economic Report for Asia Pacific, and it forecasts China's 2014 GDP growth rate to be at 7.5%, and the rate for next year to be 7.3%.

The two figures are both 0.3% points higher than last October's estimation.

In general, Asia is forecasted to grow at 5.4% this year and 5.5% next year, showing a upward momentum in regional growth.

The agency also says while China's growth is exerting greater influence on regional recovery, multiple challenges still remain, such as over-investment, credit growth, shadow banking, and also local government debt.
