俄罗斯面临更多欧盟的制裁

The European Union is likely to impose additional sanctions on Russia and target such industries such as salt, caviar, leather, and mining. That’s according to a source close to the matter.

EU foreign ministers are meeting in Brussels to discuss possible economic punishment for Russia. Insiders say the pending penalties will be the third level of sanctions that the EU has placed on Russia and focuses on the country’s core economic industries. The penalties were also expected to include widened travel restrictions and capital freezes to include more government officials and business people from Russia and Crimea. The EU was also expected to announce that a referendum in east Ukraine that backs sovereignty for the region isn’t recognized by the EU.
