中国公布大城市的失业率

China’s State Council held its executive meeting on Wednesday. Chaired by Premier Li Keqiang, the meeting said China would publish unemployment rates for big cities in a timely manner so as to better reflect the country’s job market.

China releases an urban unemployment rate regularly, but it excludes migrant workers who are not registered in cities as legal residents. The new jobless indicator would be based on survey results that may improve its accuracy compared with the existing measure.

The State Council also said it would push ahead with reforms that could help settle the country’s millions of migrant workers INTO cities, and provide them with better education and social welfare.

As for the property sector, participants in the meeting discussed the temporary regulations on real estate registration. The meeting said after asking for opinions under legislative procedures, the work of revising the related rules will be pushed forward.
