A Chinese medical team which is in Liberia to help out in the Ebola outbreak, has visited the camp of Chinese peacekeepers.

The medics said managing the camp’s gates is a priority in isolating any source of the virus, and asked the peacekeepers to step up checks. They also urged training for gate guards on sanitation and disinfection, and advised them avoid close contact with any visitors.

The medics also gave the peacekeepers psychological counselling, to prepare them for the challenges as the Ebola crisis gradually transforms into a social crisis.
