基地组织:高级官员死于美国空袭

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula says one of its senior members has been killed in a US airstrike in Yemen.

According to the SITE Intelligence Group, which cited an online video by Al Qaeda, Nasser bin Ali al-Ansi was killed with his eldest son in the US airstrike.

Ansi had appeared in several of the group's videos. He also issued the claim of responsibility for the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris. White House spokesman Eric Schultz declined to comment on Ansi's reported death.
