国民党中常会通过洪秀柱提名

The ruling Kuomintang party says it will nominate Hung Hsiu-chu to run in the 2016 Taiwan election.

The party's Central Standing Committee released a statement on Wednesday approving Hung's nomination proposal.

Party chairman Chu Li-luan called on the Kuomintang to mobilize and help the party's candidate create a favorable platform on which to campaign.
