美国向土耳其派遣6架F-16战机击IS

The US Air Force has sent six F-16 'Fighting Falcons' fighter jets to Incirlik Air Base in Turkey.

The jets and approximately three hundred support personnel are part of a build up aimed at combating Islamic State militants. The American detachment comes from a fighter group stationed at an air base in Italy.

Turkey last month approved the use of its air bases by US and coalition aircraft in the fight against Islamic State.
