中国向巴基斯坦提供现金援助

China has provided cash aid to Pakistan, which is battered by severe flooding that have claimed nearly 180 lives, and affected 1.2 million people in a month.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed condolences over phone to Sartaj Aziz, advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, on Monday. He said China is willing to offer more help. Meanwhile, Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has given cash as relief fund, on behalf of China Red Cross. Forecasts say Pakistan will see strong rainfall over the next two weeks, and is need of relief supplies.

"Food, shelter....tents and other basic needs. We now also focusing not only immediate aid, but also building back. Whatever is being built....all these communities,” Rizwan Naseer, secretary of Pakistan Red Crescent Society, said.
