中国西北部寒流袭来

A strong cold wave is sweeping the northwest part of China. Weather authorities expect the cold wave to bring down temperatures in areas including Xinjiang, Gansu and Inner Mongolia. Temperatures in some regions are forecast to drop 10 degrees Celsius.

Smog continues to cover large parts of northeast and north China, and the public has been advised to take precautions.
