强寒流席卷中国

A severe cold front has swept across China, sending temperatures plummeting and causing traffic headaches.

Beijing is expected to see the temperature of minus 15 degrees Celsius today, its lowest in 30 years.

In some parts of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, it’s even lower, at minus 38 degrees Celsius.

Northeastern Liaoning Province has seen a temperature drop of 12 degrees. Sleet has hit southern Guizhou Province, coating some roads with ice.
