1.lament n. 悲叹，悔恨，恸哭

如：A poem or song composed especially as a lament for a deceased person. 
挽歌，挽诗专门为悼念某一死者所写的诗或歌

Short pleasure, long lament.

2.brag v. 吹牛，炫耀

如：She bragged that she could run faster than I. 
她夸口说她比我跑得快。

He's been bragging about his new car. 
他一直夸他的新汽车。

3.refrain from 忍住，抑制，制止

如：I'm just trying to refrain from drowsing at work. 
我只是试着别在工作时打瞌睡而已。
