英语对汉语的影响 The Influence of English on Our Chinese

The language is the carrier of culture, one kind of language can show us the culture of its speakers. With the frequent communication and exchange of countries in the world, many peoples’ culture is merging, so the languages do. Thus the number of English learners is increasing in China and even the young people consider speaking English as a cool thing. So some English words are taken into the Chinese, such as MacDonald’s, VIP, bye-bye, UFO, bingo, CEO, DIY and so on. Chinese people speak these English words instead of our mother tongue so frequently that some people become worry about the disappearance of words in our mother language. But other people think that language is changing all the time, that new words are created or brought from other languages is a natural thing, whether the new words can exist finally, time tells the truth.语言是文化的载体，一门语言能够体现出其使用者的文化内涵。随着世界各国的频繁交流与来往，各国的文化正在融合，语言也是如此。而在中国英语学习者的人数不断提高，年轻人都将会说英语当成件很酷的事情。因此，一些英语单词被引进中文，例如：麦当劳、VIP（重要人物）、拜拜、UFO（不明飞行物）、冰果、执行总裁、DIY(亲手做)hai等等。中国人们频繁的使用这些外来词来替代中文，这使得一些人担心汉语中的一些词会消失。但是有些人则认为语言一直都在改变，新词的创造或是引入外来词是一件很自然的事情。至于这些新词是否或存留下去，时间会给出答案。
