◆fly v.

表示“飞”，除用于鸟、飞机等在空中飞之外，还可指人乘飞机飞行、人驾驶飞机、飞机飞越某地等。如：

I often fly CAAC. 我经常乘坐中国民航。

I’m flying to Hong Kong tomorrow. 明天我要乘飞机去香港。

He flew the plane over to France. 他驾飞机去了法国。

Powerful aircraft now fly the Atlantic in a few hours. 大飞机现在几小时就可以飞过大西洋。

比较：开车用动词 drive, 驾船用动词 sail, 骑马或自行车用用动词 ride, 驾飞机用动词 fly。
