J:Are you kidding? That place is too ritzy for lunch.

N:True .ok Let's go to Gerumose?

J:Same thing, meals there all coarsen arm and leg

N:I guess it is a little pricy.

J:Let's stop it at Multicolor for a quick lunch..

N:That will be Ok. Come on ,I can't wait to chow down(吃饭）?

J: That was a great lunch ,the food was good ，but the service was lousy.

N:Is that why you stiffed(vt. 不肯付……小费）) the waiter?

J:You got it .All right,Let's go back to school.

Dialogue Two : Eric treats Gregory to lunch

(treat to 招待，款待）.

E=Eric, G=Gregory

E:Come on,Let's go for lunch,Gregory .

G:I was going to eat in,I'm short on cash

E:Don't worry about it.It's on me.

G:In that case,I'm with you.　Em.this is good .

Ｅ:I agreed， Hi, guess what? I went bungee jumping last weekend.

G:Are you on the up and up(光明正大，诚实无欺)?

E:Definitely. you know, I'm into(be into: 对……深感兴趣）serious sport in a big way.

G:If you asked me, you've got a screw loose somewhere.

E:come off it(住口）,It's not that serious.　You should DIY(do it yourself) sometime

G: Fat chance,I'm too scared of bungee jumping.

E:No, really, I think you'd like it. I adapted to it right off the bat(立即）.

G:What did that have to do with me? I'm not the self-seeker like you.

E:I can teach you here.

Ｇ:I had a sneaking suspicion about you,Eric, I think you've lost it .

Ｅ:No,not really, but I think I have lost my wallet. Where can it be?
